FASTEST QUALIFIER TO THE LOS ALAMITOS - ADEQUAN CALIFORNIA DERBY CHALLENGE!
J. Hales and C. & R. Singletary’s Tres of Linda looked impressive in posting a wire to wire daylight victory in her respective trial to the Adequan California Derby Challenge on Sunday at Los Alamitos
Owned by the partnership of Joleen Hales - Christian & Ruanna Singletary, trained by Scott Willoughby and ridden by Rodrigo Aceves, Tres Of Linda ran the race of the night after finishing with the fastest qualifying time of :19.863.
Not only was her winning time noteworthy, but she looked great while crushing the competition by 2 ½ lengths. Bred by the owners, Tres Of Linda has won three of seven career starts including two of her last three outings. She was ¾ length winner on February 18 before returning with a sixth place finish in the James Smith Memorial Handicap.
